Goalie Vision is a tool for recording, tagging, and analyzing goaltender performance in youth hockey. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Only a parent or guardian may create the main account. A goalie’s profile, video, and stats remain under that account. The parent can create a view-only subaccount with a name, username, and password for a goalie or family member, select which goalies it can access, reset its password, or remove it. Subaccounts do not require an email address and cannot change profiles, upload footage, or manage billing. Subaccount passwords are stored as salted hashes. Removing a subaccount ends its login access immediately; deleting the parent account also deletes its subaccounts.
We deliberately collect birth year rather than a full date of birth, and gender is optional.
After all clips are safely generated, the original game or practice recording is kept for a 72-hour correction window so you can reopen tagging if something was missed. It is deleted automatically after that window; unprocessed or abandoned uploads may be retained longer for recovery and are removed by our retention cleanup. The short clips themselves are kept until you delete the source session or account. Private coach links expire after the period you choose (up to 30 days) and can be turned off immediately.
Your goalie's full profile, video, and stats are normally visible only to your account. A general view-only report link shows the report it belongs to until you turn the link off. A private coach-review link shows only the clips you select, expires automatically, and lets that coach return notes. Goalie Vision does not list, match, sell, or contact coaches.
Friend highlights are off by default. When a parent enables them, friends can see only clips that a parent explicitly marked as highlights. Service providers that help us operate Goalie Vision may process limited information on our behalf, including payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and storage. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
We do not run ads or use your data for ad targeting. Goalie Vision is supported by subscriptions, not advertising.
You can download a copy of your data from Account settings. You can also submit a password-confirmed deletion request there; a seven-day safety window lets you cancel through support before permanent removal. If you're in a jurisdiction with specific data rights (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, or similar laws elsewhere), those rights apply in full.
